The Zehnder Charleston is the original multi column radiator and whilst the techniques and precision of manufacture have changed, it is still being produced to the original design from the 1930's and so retains its authentic appeal. It is an electric, oil filled radiator which is ideal for extensions, conservatories and in front of low level windows which are out of reach of your traditional heating system. It measures 400 x 995mm. It is supplied with the new Zehnder Radio Frequency Controller.  This remote device – also wall mountable – allows the homeowner to make their radiator as efficient as possible by customising daily and weekly operation programmes so as they are totally tailored to their lifestyle and usage patterns.  The unit has a range of 30 metres in open space and 10 metres between rooms (one wall).  It also features the innovative ‘open window’ detection system and ‘presence detection’ which reduces energy usage by automatically reducing the temperature when you are away.  Here's how it works;

Colour swatches can be ordered here and the cost is refundable either when you return the swatch or place an order. Delivery of coloured radiators is normally c.4 weeks.
